Roads to You continues!
Today, Roads to You continues with a variety of ensembles touring as emissaries of peace. Over 200 public performances and workshops have been presented across the United States by more than 70 musicians from 30 different countries.
The host community participation is the essence of Roads to You. Community involvement is established in the following ways:
Educational Workshops
Arrange an educational workshop in your local school. Musicians will visit schools in small groups to make presentations about their own countries for non-music students and/or to conduct master classes for music students. For more information, please contact: workshops@roadstoyou.com
House and Community Concerts
Organize a concert in your home, at your place of worship or local community center. The musicians are forming tango, jazz, Celtic, Klezmer, Middle Eastern, folk, Brazilian and brass trios and quartets (subject to availability). For more information, please contact: concerts@roadstoyou.com
Musical ensembles sizes range from four musicians up to thirty-five, depending on the scope of outreach desired by the host community.
